There’s just something about a snowy engagement session in Oregon that feels extra magical, and Justice & Madi’s Mary’s Peak photos were no exception! We lucked out with the most beautiful sunny February day—literally the calm before a huge ice storm hit. The snow was still fresh, the light was glowing, and these two were absolutely adorable together.

If you’re looking for the best places for engagement photos near Corvallis, you can’t go wrong with Mary’s Peak. The nice thing about Mary's Peak is that it isn't too far. It has insane views year round, but especially in the winter when everything is covered in snow. Even though we had to bundle up, the crisp air and bright sunshine made the whole session feel like the best snow date ever.

From the moment these two stepped in front of the camera, I knew it was going to be a good one. Justice & Madi were so playful and sweet—constantly laughing, teasing each other playfully, and just soaking up every moment together. Madi’s cozy sweater and boots were perfect for the snowy vibes, and Justice kept her warm between shots (which was honestly the cutest thing ever). I can't believe we lucked out with a gorgeous sunny day! My favorite part of the mountain was seeing the tiny bootprints and the snowman that a family had clearly built before we arrived. The snow got SO deep in some areas!! All the way up to our thighs!

We spent the afternoon wandering through the snow-covered trees, chasing the golden light, and capturing all those sweet, in-between moments that make Oregon winter engagement photos feel extra special. I'm not trying to sound cheesy, but it really was like a winter wonderland. I have never seen so much snow on the trees before. I can't even image what it looks like as the snow is falling fresh.

Why You Should Consider a Winter Engagement Session in Oregon
If you’re newly engaged and thinking about your engagement session, don’t sleep on winter! Here’s why I absolutely love snowy engagement photos in Oregon:
Soft, glowing light: The snow acts as a natural reflector, making your skin look extra glowy and the whole scene feel ethereal.
Unique & dreamy vibes: A winter session instantly feels more cozy, romantic, and intimate.
Less crowded locations: Popular spots like Mary’s Peak are usually way quieter in the winter—no dodging hikers or tourists in the background!
If you’re up for a little adventure and don’t mind bundling up, a snowy Oregon engagement session might be exactly what you’re looking for!
