A beautiful spring wedding
When I tell you I won't forget this wedding, I truly will not forget it. I met Allie and Chris on their wedding day, and instantly felt like we were friends, but that is not why I will never forget their wedding. It is because they radiate so much love and complete happiness. I truly can't describe how much love emulated from these two.

The Portland LDS Temple was absolutely packed on this gorgeous April day, and I can see why! It was STUNNING and they could not have picked a more perfect day to be married. The tulips surrounding the temple grounds brought so much joy. I anxiously waited outside the temple with their lovely families as we waited for the happy couple to exit.

In my pre-wedding questionnaire, Allie mentioned that her and Chris started dating in high school. I was instantly obsessed with them because HELLO! Who doesn't love a successful high school sweetheart story?! Allie told me that she had been keeping a BIG secret! She has been writing in a secret journal about their love story for the past SEVEN years, and gave it to Chris on their special day. Not only did I cry while he opened his gift, but also while editing the photos. It was the sweetest thing.

Allie and Chris love the coast. They spent a lot of time together up at Cannon Beach and Seaside areas growing up and wanted some bridals to cherish in an area that they love! I absolutely love how the coast photos turned out. I still can't believe it wasn't raining in April! I simply cannot pick a favorite out of our beach photos because I am obsessed with all of them.

Next was PARTY TIME! We headed over to their beautiful backyard reception at the most gorgeous beach home and spent the rest of the night with Allie and Chris's family and friends. Look at all the beautiful details Allie put together! She has such a creative eye!

And as any good friends would... They sent off the happy couple with a bang!

To Allie and Chris, thank you SO much for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was beautiful, joyful, and full of so much LOVE. I will cherish it forever! I wish you two the MOST happy of marriages and cannot wait to see chris start his medical school journey.
